At this time Kids Kount is prepared to be on site full time when the new school year begins. We are currently taking all possible measures to continually keep our children and staff safe. All staff and children nine years of age and up must wear a mask. Table dividers have been purchased to help with keeping our children socially distant and still be able to play with one another. We are doing our very best to accommodate the needs of our families and the community while we continue through this pandemic and prepare for the new school year.

Kids Kount is currently open as a crisis care center. Each day brings a new challenge as we continue to follow the guidelines set by the CDC. We are currently preparing for what the school year may look like. If we do not return to what we consider a normal school year, we here at Kids Kount will be prepared to do everything we can to make sure your child is in a positive and productive environment. We will be open full time and staffed to continue to offer the best possible care we can during this time of uncertainty.

At Kids Kount we are taking every measure possible to keep our families, our children and our staff safe. We are washing our hands several times a day. It is enjoyable listening to our kids make up their own lyrics to the happy birthday song. We are constantly washing and sanitizing our tables, dishes, bathrooms and toys. Who knew we had sooooooo many legos. Watch for more ways to stay safe during the pandemic.

Every day preventative tips and actions you and your family can take to stop the spread of germs:

  • Wash your hands frequently

  • Cover coughs and sneezes

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

  • Stay home from work or school if you are sick and avoid close contact with others to help prevent spread of germs

  • If possible, try not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth. These areas are often the way germs are transferred into our bodies.

Drop Off & Pick Up

Until further notice children will be dropped off and picked up at the first entrance. You must call the center and a staff member will come outside to get your child or bring them to you at the end of the day. They will need an extra pair of shoes for inside. All personal belongings will be held in the entry way in the effort to help keep our children and staff safe through the ongoing pandemic. Thank you.
